This guide is brought to you by the Kootenay Boundary Patient Advisory Committee and Community (KBPACC) as part of the Empowering the Citizen Patient project. It was created in response to feedback from patients who felt a more comprehensive resource for naviagting surgery was needed.
By filling this gap, we aim to empower patients and help the Health Care system work more efficiently for everyone. KBPACC’s mission is simple but powerful: to amplify patient voices, promote meaningful engagement, and advocate for a more accessible, equitable, and integrated Health Care system.
